Upcoming events at Allison Creek
Thursday, April 17 - 7:00 pm - Maundy Thursday worship which will include prayer stations located throughout the sanctuary. We will conclude worship with the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Friday, April 18th - 1:00 pm - We will have a prayer walk through the cemetery and woods. We will be reading the Scriptures marking Jesus' final hours.
Sunday, April 20 - 7:00 am - Sunrise service at Kathy & Les Kitts home (from church, turn left on Allison Creek Road for 1.9 miles, turn left on Bonita, bear left at fork, house is on the right - 1834 Bonita). Bring breakfast items to share. Drinks will be provided.
Sunday, April 20th - 10:00 am - Worship in the sanctuary with Communion. Bring flowers to decorate the outside cross. No Sunday School or fellowship time after worship.
Wednesday Lenten devotional has been cancelled.
Christian Education Classes
Classes for all ages are offered on Sunday mornings beginning at 11:15. We offer:
-a nursery and preschool classes
-elementary aged classes which rotate to various stations including games, storytelling, computers, music, and puppets
-Junior High Youth
-Senior High Youth
-Adults classes. Currently adult class options include the Encouragers who are studying "Jesus and the Just Reign of God" and the Seekers class meet in the Parlor and are currently reviewing the Film Series by Francis Chas as he explores the foundational truths of the Christian faith.
All are invited!!!!
Next Thursday Night Bluegrass concert will be May 1, 2014. We invite you to enjoy some great music in our Family Life Center. Our concession opens at 6:30 PM and the music starts at 7! Come and bring your friends!
